About Me

I'm a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who transitioned into information technology, bringing discipline and attention to detail to every system I manage.

With over 31 years of experience in IT, I've built a career spanning database administration, software development, project management, and infrastructure engineering. My journey started with Sybase SQL Server at Stanley Associates, followed by nearly a decade of SDLC project management and back-end development at CitiStreet.

I spent several years at Kennedy Space Center with Space Gateway Support, managing Windows Server infrastructure and IT security for one of the world's most iconic aerospace facilities. From there, I moved to Sentia (formerly Jitscale) as a Continuity Engineer, supporting mission-critical private cloud solutions in an ISO 27001-certified environment.

Currently, I'm the Lead System Administrator at Steamroller Animation, where I manage the infrastructure that powers the creation of feature films and animated content.

I studied Computer Science at the College of Charleston and am a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Outside of work, I'm passionate about self-hosting, homelab infrastructure, and automation. My homelab serves as both a learning platform and a production environment, hosting over 20 services that I use daily.
